Rusted Warfare IDE Studio

RustedWarfare IDE Studio is a complete creation workspace for building, editing, testing and maintaining Rusted Warfare mods and maps directly from your device.

Work with complete mod projects or individual files in a tabbed development environment. Browse folders, create and organize resources, search across a project, edit supported text formats with syntax highlighting, code folding, line documentation, search and replace, undo and redo, split editing, path suggestions and quick access to images, sounds, maps and related files.

Create and edit Rusted Warfare unit definitions with dedicated INI tools, visual property controls, reference assistance, color tools and project-aware resource paths. Load units in the integrated runtime preview, inspect resolved templates and dependencies, generate thumbnails and test units or complete projects in the sandbox.

Design TMX maps with a visual map editor made for Rusted Warfare. Create standard or procedural maps, work with terrain, layers, objects, units, resources, tilesets, autotiles and macrotiles, use map profiles for different Rusted Warfare formats, generate previews and edit embedded tileset images visually. Tileset changes preserve tile properties and remap map references when rows or columns are added or removed.

Edit graphics with pixel, image, sprite and animation tools. Use layers, selections, transforms, palettes, team-color previews, canvas resizing, frame grids, PNG import and export, project files and visual editing of embedded map tiles. The 3D workspace can open common model formats, preview materials and skeletal animation, add primitives, transform geometry, extrude, subdivide, weld, mirror, generate planar UVs and export editable OBJ models.

Create and edit sound with a multitrack audio studio. Import audio, record from the microphone with level monitoring, pause, resume and stop controls, split or duplicate regions, adjust gain, fades, mute and solo, preview the mix and export audio. A procedural sound generator provides many synthesis families, named action presets, seamless-loop options and local system text-to-speech where supported.

Project tools include Rusted Warfare validation, repair assistance, dependency and reference analysis, automatic thumbnail workflows, safe file operations, project templates and a reconstructed vanilla asset bank. ZIP and .rwmod archives can be resolved, including nested resources and Rusted Warfare path aliases.

Optional features include RustedAI assistance using your own Google AI Studio API key and OneDrive-based project sharing using your Microsoft account. Core editing works without these online services.

RustedWarfare IDE Studio is an independent creator tool for modding and mapping workflows. It is not the Rusted Warfare game.
